What you get when you Order.

Buying meat directly from the farmer; means you know exactly
where your food comes from and how it's been treated along the way.

We take all our livestock to a
CFIA approved slaughter house.
It is cut, wrapped and frozen at an
approved facility.
It is then Boxed to accommodate your specific order. Any orders that
are not to be delivered immediately are then stored in freezers at -18
degrees Celcius at Family Farm Natural Meats.

When your order is received , we will contact you to confirm your order.
All orders are guaranteed secure when a down-payment has been
made. We will take personal cheques. Balance owing at time of
delivery.

You will be contacted prior to Delivery Date to finalize arrangements.

We are strong believers in BUY LOCAL,
and because of this we will only sell and ship within B.C.

All prices include Butcher, Cutting and Packaging.
All prices include Shipping and Handling.


Prices for Boxes of Beef are according to weight of filled box. This
box is filled by us.

Individual Prices for Beef are according to actual weight of
package. This is for custom building your own box. 20 lb minimum.

Prices for Turkeys and Chickens is by the pound.
We sell only whole dressed birds. Birds are slaughtered and
packaged on site by an approved mobile abattoir.

Prices for Wholes and Sides of Beef/Lamb/Pork are based on
Hanging weight, this means:
* Carcass weight, after slaughter, before cutting and wrapping.
*The weight is taken on a LEGAL scale at the packers.
*
A live Beef animal may weigh 675 lbs
hanging weight will be approx. 410 lbs
Actual cosumable meat is 292 lbs

The advantage of buying whole or sides, is you can custom cut and
package the way YOU like! Any special cutting instructions beyond the
basics, (that includes sausage etc.) you will be charged an extra
$1.05/lb

To order, a downpayment is requested. The balance owing on
delivery.

Bulk sales: For those with freezers, I recommend stocking up in
October. It's a guarantee of a year supply of food at a very reasonable
cost. (approx. 20% savings)

An average
meat eating family of 3 can consume over one year:
(This according to statistics Canada)

1/2 a Steer (Beef)
1 Pork (or 2 lambs)
35-40 Chickens
1-2 Turkeys

One Good size Freezer should be able to hold all that!

For those with only a small freezer,
we offer a 40 lb variety pack,
that we will deliver once a month for a whole year. (Which contains the
above listed items.)

To order, a downpayment is requested. The balance will be divided
into 12 equal monthly payments due on delivery each month.

Availability
As pasture-based farming is limited by our weather in the interior of
B.C., Most of our animals are off to the butchers starting in September
each year.

Pre-orders that have been guaranteed by deposits are served first,
after that it is as supplies last.
